We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technologies.

Our approach
This website has been designed and built with the aim of meeting the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. This is our target standard; the website has not been formally audited or certified by a third party.
What we have done
- Semantic page structure with a single main heading on each page, landmark regions and a “Skip to content” link.
- Full keyboard access to navigation, dropdown menus, the mobile menu, tabs, filters and forms, with visible focus indicators.
- Dropdown and mobile menus that close with the Escape key and return focus to where you were.
- Labelled form fields, clear error messages linked to each field, and focus moved to the first field that needs attention.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images; decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers.
- Colour contrast checked against WCAG AA, with adjustments made where needed.
- Layouts that adapt to screen sizes from small phones to large desktops without horizontal scrolling of the page.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” setting on your device: scroll-linked animation and transitions are switched off.
How we tested
Before launch, the website was checked with automated accessibility testing (axe-core) across all pages, keyboard-only testing of interactive components, and visual review at screen widths from 360 to 1920 pixels.
Known limitations
- APEX-3 product screens are images of the product interface. Each has a text description, but the detailed figures shown within the screens are demonstration data and are not reproduced as text.
- On small screens, product screens can be scrolled horizontally within their frame; the frame can be focused and scrolled with the keyboard.
- Illustrative diagrams are accompanied by nearby text that explains the same ideas.
